The Buckingham facility offers comprehensive training in assembly, powder coating, welding, CNC router operation, and the use of multiple edge banding machines. Inmate workforce members receive hands-on instruction with a wide range of metal and wood manufacturing equipment and techniques. They gain valuable experience working with diverse materials and processes, using both advanced technology and traditional manual methods to produce high-quality products.

VCE Workforce Development implements targeted strategies to enhance inmate workers’ productivity and equip them with the skills necessary to obtain meaningful employment after release. Our commitment to workforce development emphasizes skill-building and personal growth, preparing individuals for success in the private sector. Training is delivered through registered apprenticeships, industry-recognized certifications, and structured workforce development programs.
